Walk for Reconciliation - September 24
Join us and support the spirit of ‘Namwayut - We are all one.
The Walk for Reconciliation is an opportunity for people of all backgrounds to make a personal contribution to the reconciliation movement. How we build relationships today affects our next generations. Through walking in the spirit of reconciliation you honour intergenerational lives taken, honour survivors and those impacted by the Indian residential school system, and show your support for the youth in all communities.
The 2 km walk begins at the plaza next to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre (650 Cambie Street) this Sunday, September 24 at 9:30 AM. Following the walk, a Reconciliation Expo will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Strathcona Park (857 Malkin Avenue).
