Labour History Walking Tour

The Communications Committee has booked a private walking tour for Local 517 members at 4:30 PM on Thursday, June 15th!

Presented by the BC Labour Heritage Centre, Vancouver Working Class & Labour History Walking Tours allow you to visit sites of significance to workers’ heritage and working class struggle that commemorate the importance of labour unions, individuals, collective actions and much more in Vancouver, BC.

Sign-up is limited to 16 participants. Based on interest, we can schedule a subsequent tour on a later date.

Our guide will create a unique tour plan for our group based on interests and neighbourhood preferences, centred around either:

• Downtown - Stops include the Marine Building, Bentall Centre, and the Old Hotel Vancouver; or

• Gastown - Stops include the Railwayman’s Club, the Labour Temple, and the Sun Tower.
